We actually thought that this dune is the "Klimduin" of Schoorl, where the annual Klimduin-Run takes place. In fact, this dune is about 1.6km away from Klimduin, but is as steep and sandy as the "original".
It's fun to climb up, you can do it as an untrained one, then you need a bit longer ;-). Since you slip away in the sand again and again, it makes sense to move diagonally from left to right to left forward. Or you end up like Sisiphus and maybe roll down the slope again ;-)
