Easily accessible via a path that branches off from the footpath at the top a little way from the coast and leads down to the bay. To reach the next cove to the west, Cala Grande, one would have to walk way back to the driveway to Playa de Monsul, and choose paths down from that track in an easterly direction. Alternatively, there is sometimes the possibility (depending on the water level and waves) to continue hiking or wading directly below or along the steep rocky coast on a very narrow strip of sand (see section HL "Cala Chica & Cala Grande).
