But it's not as big an elevation change as the komoot statistics for this highlighted section might suggest: The 5 miles distance and 10k feet uphill and 10k downhill that komoot shows for this highlighted section are not accurate, it's closer to a couple of miles and maybe 400 feet elevation change.

This stretch of double track fire road is more challenging than it might appear. For starters there are plenty of tight turns to keep an eye out for, plus at least one prolonged section with a 20% grade. It pairs nicely with the Woods Trail.
