After around 8 months of construction, the first residential building in Germany was built in Beckum using a 3D printer and was officially inaugurated on July 26th, 21st. Like a cake, a giant printer applied special concrete layer by layer. The round layers are clearly visible on all walls. The result is a two-story 160 square meter modern single-family house. It can be viewed as a model house from August until the end of 2022, after which the owner will move in.

Cycling

The 3D-HAUS stands on Sudhoferweg in Beckum and is the first to be printed with special cement. It is now finished and will be available as a model house until 2022. After that, it will be lived in as normal. Even some pieces of furniture such as the fireplace and something from the kitchen were brought into "Die Glocke", according to a newspaper article.
