From this point you can admire a splendid view. Located in the center of the Monte Leoni area, the medieval town of considerable value enjoys an extraordinary view that allows it to dominate the entire plain. Two portals delimit the village: the main one with an architrave decorated with two Romanesque crosses; the lateral one which has a decoration of moldings on the jambs and palmettes with crossed leaves on the frame of the double archivolt.
At the northern end of the town stands the Piccolomini baronial palace, in the shape of a seventeenth-century pavilion. A short distance from this, a stretch of wall seems curiously lying on its side, evidently collapsed, and which was incorporated into subsequent buildings.
Interesting, for the picturesque views and the panorama of the plain below, the entire village is still intact.
