An astronomical journey in the Allerpark
"My Father Explains to Me Every Sunday Our Neighbor Planets" - that is the motto for the planets of the solar system. What has been thought of as a donkey bridge can become reality in the Allerpark since autumn 2011, because Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune can all be found here as sculptures in exact proportions. The size of the planets is represented in a ratio of 1: 1 billion. The distance between the planets in the Allerpark is 1: 4 billion.
The so-called planet path starts next to the rowing club with the sun, then leads to the west around the Allersee and conveys a lot of background information on display boards. This path was made possible by the Bürgerstiftung Wolfsburg with contributions from individuals and companies.
