    Marmot trail:
This path requires surefootedness, walking shoes, a good sense of balance and also good physical condition. No problem for experienced hikers, but a challenge for a flat Tyrolean like me. Incidentally, two bodies of water also have to be crossed. Also not a problem if you can jump from stone to stone.
Apart from the good shoes, no further equipment is necessary from our point of view.
So that you don't lose your way (e.g. in the rock fields) someone has now and then painted the flag of Austria on a rock. So keep your eyes open!

GPX data are available here: serfaus-fiss-ladis.at/de/Sommerurlaub/Wandern/Tourenplanung/murmeltiersteig_898272.gpx_dl_b114423327fc8c937c6c62dc4fcae8e6458df54c4263ec3972d36f679647f679647f

TIP: Take binoculars with you and maybe not make too much noise on the way. Maybe you will be lucky enough to see marmots. At least you will hear them if you go a little more consciously the way. Because the guard's whistle can be heard well. You will find information about the marmot on several boards.

The path is also high enough to come across snowfields in between. A real highlight "snow in summer".

There are enough opportunities for a rest along the way. With a magnificent view and a great landscape. Please remember to take your rubbish with you after the nice rest, because there are no rubbish bins here. 😉

Great route, great views, moderate altitude.

Nice climb, but good shoes are required! The duration of around 3 hours is also not to be neglected.
        But it's worth it (:
