Closed in 1992, now a mining museum. In the information center and in the old mining facilities, numerous exhibits inform about the mining technology, the processing of the ore and the processing to lead metal, zinc metal and sulfuric acid. Unfortunately only open on Sundays from 3 to 6 pm.
Next door is the Galileo Park with the Sauerland Pyramids, in the pyramids there are exhibitions on scientific topics, open daily (except Mondays) from 10 to 17 o'clock. Admission 8 € (adults, as of June 2019).
The approach to this hill is very difficult, but worth it.

Cycling

Anyone who is down on the ring and does not have the attraction on their screen has quickly passed it. And if you want to go up, you should have an e-bike, it's steep up the mountain, very steep. Above you can expect not only the pyramids and the mine but also a grandiose view of Lennestadt. Worth it.
