Grabno is a small village in the Ośno Lubuskie commune. Its origins date back to the 13th century, as evidenced by the oldest document from 1286, which mentions the surrender of Grabno to the Templars. The charming stone church of St. Joseph the Groom in Grabno is a branch building of the parish in Smogóry of the Rzepiński deanery. It was built in the second half of the 19th century, although some sources mention the end of the 17th century. Formerly Protestant, since 1945 it has served the followers of the Roman Catholic religion.

The current fieldstone church was built in the second half of the 19th century. Some sources, including a dated flag, indicate the end of the 17th century. There is also information about a wooden tower from 1699, which in reality does not exist. The church is equipped with a wooden baptismal font founded in 1695 by Cunon Fryderyk von Winning.
