Traghetto instead of gondola
A gondola ride is of course part of a visit to Venice. In order not to put too much strain on your wallet, a traghetto is an inexpensive way of crossing the Grand Canal at least once in a real gondola. Several positions are available for this. Of course, you have to hurry or take a second trip for photos. Here you can say: "pay the ferryman".
