According to sources, the Yengi Imam Caravanserai belongs to the period of Shah Abbas Safavid (1501-1736).

Its function was for the caravanserai and travelers, which was built with four-porch architecture and in the Qajar period in 1917-1921, it was turned into a guest house and above the porch on its south side, was an attic consisting of six small and big rooms. This attic caught fire around 1937 and after that it remained abandoned.
