The manor house was built in 1908 in Art Nouveau style and was owned by the Wodarg family until 1945. Konrad Wodarg was the first in the Prignitz to make use of the fertilizer theory and achieved maximum yields by working the light soil with 7 crop rotations. From 1947 to 1997 the manor house was used as a nursing home. It has been privately owned since 1998 and has been restored.

Cycling

A small listed chapel with a cemetery and war memorial stands outside the village on a wooded hill. The small Gothic stone church was built and consecrated in 1824.
