The tunels are unlit - even if an uphill battery may be sufficient uphill, a clever headlight is announced on the downhill.
I think you should drive up in the early morning because there are a lot of cars driving later.
There are single-lane passages with traffic light regulation - let downhill run - no oncoming traffic - bargauf the green phases are long enough not to suddenly get oncoming traffic in the tunnel
