The 14th-century Gothic church of San Vigilio is one of the most interesting monuments near Caldaro on the Wine Road. It is located in the hamlet of Castelvecchio, among vineyards and orchards, and on the outside wall of the bell tower you can admire the oldest mural painting in Caldaro, a depiction of San Cristoforo dating back to 1320.
