ON THE CREATION OF HERMANN NITSCH.
The artist's work contains strong references to Greek mythology and the Weinviertel landscape. These can be experienced and understood by visitors to the Dionysus Way. The sensory experience (seeing-smelling-tasting) connects the Weinviertel landscape with myth and enjoyment and connects nature and art. The "Dionysosweg" leads from the museum parking lot through the vineyards to the "Weinviertelfries" by Heinz Cibulka and Klaus Stattmann and from there to the MZM.
Goats, pigs, geese, ducks, chickens and Galloway cattle can be seen all year round on the Dionysus Trail.
