A Roman relic that is still in use. Construction of the reservoir began in the 1st century BC. to supply Mérida through its aqueduct and is still active today as a bathing and recreation area. This thousand-year-old structure is part of the civil engineering complex that completes the majestic monuments that adorn the cities and is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
