The village of Koguchi is nestled between the towering mountains right at the confluence of the Koguchi-gawa and the Higashi-gawa. The old school building on the island between the two rivers is now a friendly guesthouse. In the small supermarket on the outskirts you can stock up your supplies for the last stage.
