The San Jorio Pass (Italian Passo San Jorio, old German name Jörisberg) is a 2014 m high Saumpass in the Ticino Alps east of Bellinzona. The border between Switzerland and Italy runs at the top of the pass. The San Jorio Pass represents a transition from the Swiss Val Morobbia to the Italian Val Dongo and thus connects the region around Bellinzona with Gravedona on the north of Lake Como. Once an important transition, today it is only interesting for hikers.
