Heinrich Schickhardt, also called the "Swabian Leonardo da Vinci", was commissioned in 1595 by Duke Friedrich I to build a bathhouse. Under King Wilhelm I, the building was expanded in the neoclassical style between 1823 and 1825. It houses the Blumhardt room, the stucco-decorated dining room and the well room (sulfur spring) from 1595, which has been used for healing ever since. Therapy with the original Boller Jurafango was introduced around 1930 and the third local remedy has also been used in Bad Boll since 1976: thermal mineral water from a depth of 467 m.
The park with its magnificent trees from the 19th century and the Biedermeier-style foyer, which is entwined with roses, are part of the Kurhaus.
