The 200 hp steam engine from 1948 of the then grain distillery and yeast factory Langemeyer could generate up to 12,000 cbm of compressed air per hour.

Langemeyer steam engine
At the beginning of the Köllbach valley is the old steam engine of the Langemeyer corn distillery. This has been burning Westphalian grain since 1790. The old rock cellar, which used to be used to store ice cream sticks, is located near the industrial monument. Today bats have found a home here.
