Dirt path with a clayey bottom, easily covered by MTB and on foot, sometimes bumpy due to the transit of vehicles engaged in cutting the forest (Turkey oak, pine and acacia). The lower half is steeper than the one at altitude. Going up, after a third of the way, the path coming from Agnanello, formerly the municipal road for Vellano, joins the right side, near a bend; after about two thirds, instead on the left, the loop path that surrounds the top of Poggio Tresserre joins, for which you can continue up to Vellano following the CAI path 57: this latter denomination also covers the upper third of the track, which ends in Macchino with a bifurcation. the path is free from vegetation all year round and is equally advisable in both directions if dry, preferably uphill if the climate is very humid.

You will have to climb about 400m over 4km. The road is rough but is good to ride. If you want a good offroad connection to Macchino it can be a good option. But except for in the beginning at the Cerreto side, you won't be treated to beautiful views during your climb, unfortunately.
