the Haidachstellwand is a demanding via ferrata (difficulty level B & B / C). If you want to walk several via ferratas in one go, you walk this via ferrata in the opposite direction to the usual direction. So here then from east to west. If you just want to walk the via ferrata on your own - which I recommend - then you walk the via ferrata from west to east. At the mountain station you walk a few meters and then you will see the sign for the directions.
On the right it goes against the usual direction, like here. The way is easy to find. The path initially goes downhill a long way before it leads uphill again along a steep mountain meadow to the via ferrata. At the
Once you have reached the via ferrata you have two options. A short, steep piece straight ahead (ladder) or left along the ropes. The climb on this side is very easy. On the west side it is quite demanding. But doable for experienced hikers. In any case, wear via ferrata equipment.
Then go to the via ferrata on the west side along the ridge - see photo. It is possible to bypass the via ferrata by following the marked path downhill to the right in front of the ridge (photo).
After overcoming the Haidachstellwand, follow the path along. Before the next summit, the path then goes downhill to the right. This leads back to the main routes. When you arrive at the signs, you now decide whether to go back to the mountain station or right up to the Rosskopf.

Great via ferrata, but even if it is "only" category B / C, it should not be underestimated
