This hike ends here at Waldhaus Okertal. The bus stop for the return trip in the direction of Goslar Hauptbahnhof is across the street, right next to the Waldhau Okertal bridge. There is also a covered waiting area there. If there is of course enough time left before the return trip, you can spend it with a visit to the Waldhaus Okertal inn, where the very courteous staff offers food and drinks at acceptable prices. Directly on the forecourt of the Waldhaus Okertal was a snack stand with an offer of drinks and small dishes during my hike.
