The Pleistermühle on the Werse River is a popular day trip destination in Münster, just a few kilometers from the city center.
The Werse River is a particularly gentle river. It originates near Beckum and flows into the Ems River near Münster after about 67 kilometers. Due to the gentle current, it can be navigated in both directions, so you can also paddle back to the starting point. The Werse Cycle Path is beautiful, with information panels at a total of 34 stations. They provide information about interesting and interesting facts along the way and in the towns. Rest areas with tables and benches are located at regular intervals for breaks.

You briefly cross the Werse during the peace route. Nice place and in some places it's possible to put your feet in the water.

Nice little river. It's good to cycle here. There are many vantage points and opportunities for a rest.
