St Ann's Church is a Church of England parish church in Manchester, England. Although named after Saint Anne, it also pays homage to the church's patron saint, Ann, Lady Bland. St Ann's Church is a Category I listed building.
      t. Ann's has always been closely linked to civic life, and its principals have acted from time to time as chaplains to the Lord Mayor, district council chairmen and the police. In 1975, the Friends of St Ann's Church was founded from the community's commercial buildings in order to preserve the fabric of this historic building. In 2011, St. Ann's underwent renovations (while the church continued to operate). The work included repairing the clock, bell, masonry and roof. [11] During the renovation work, the church was hung with large advertising banners, which was controversial for a Category I listed building. [12]The church has an active concert program, including weekly lunchtime organ concerts (Wednesdays), monthly professional concerts, and regular piano and chamber music concerts by students of the Royal Northern College of Music. The church has a four-manual George Sixsmith organ (source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Ann%27s_Church,_Manchester).

        Rather small and unspectacular church
