Hiking

This municipality is the starting point for the main medium and high mountain trails that climb the Sierra Nevada, such as the Vereda de la Estrella. Güéjar Sierra is located 16 kilometers from the Alhambra and 25 from the Sierra Nevada ski slopes, and it is possible to practice horseback riding, hiking or cycling routes.

Hiking

Nice round trip from the Los Lomas campsite. Unfortunately, the tour goes to the town of Embalse and from there back to the campsite on the main road, which is not nice to walk on as there is more traffic here.
