Field stone building, core in the 2nd half of the 13th century. Heavily damaged by lightning strikes and fire in 1859, reconstruction in 1860, with enlargement of the windows in neo-Romanesque style. 1920–22 after a renewed fire in the tower, it was rebuilt in eclectic forms based on a design by Curt Steinberg, the west wall and the plastered roof tower with pyramid roof also renewed.
Inside wooden hollow vault with hanging frame. Uniform neo-baroque furnishings and tendril painting by Robert Sandfort in 1921. A medieval consecration cross on the north wall. 2015 Renewal of the podium planks of the stalls.
