The current church is a new building from 1893-1908 including older parts of the wall, especially the choir and tower. The Church of St. Martin has been documented since 1131. In 1657 a new church tower was built after war damage. A new church was probably built in the 15th century, which underwent several changes inside and outside around 1730 (in the Baroque period). Only the outer walls of the choir and the tower have survived from this building.
