A good way to bypass the Uhlenhorstweg: In the south of the regatta track over the Wedauer bridge, then over the Worringer (riding) path and the Ganghoferweg towards Mülheim Uhlenhorst. The Ganghoferweg is pretty uphill for just under 300m, but you are out and about in the forest in the shade. The Ganghoferweg was re-asphalted not too long ago and thus the entire route is now fully suitable for road bikes ...
