Windhof Site (Former Biebertalbahn Station)

Nothing can be seen of the former Windhof today. The Schunk company has completely developed the site.

Where the Schunk company is located today was the Windhof stop when the Biebertalbahn was in operation. The imposing structure with a tower that was visible from afar, which was rebuilt from the old restaurant when the Biebertalbahn was put into operation, represented the new tourist and gastronomic possibilities along the railway line. There was a lot of activity from the powder mill on the Lahnbrücke to the Reehmühle in Bieber. The Heuchelheimer Mühlchen was appreciated by students and the restaurants in Rodheim and Bieber experienced a boom.
