Shortly before the Abendstern station, the Biebertalbahn changed the side of the street. Just like the cycle path coming from Biebertal runs today. The ore and lime transport had already reached its destination there. The tipping wagons unloaded their freight at the loading point into the wagons of the Rhein-Weser-Bahn, which was also known as the cannon railway. For passenger transport, it was also possible to switch to this train, which could then be used to reach workplaces in Wetzlar and Lollar. An information board at the bakery shows its historical significance in the rail traffic of that time.
