Yes, there was this really nice, old wooden bridge here for as long as I can rememer, but eventually it started to crumble and fall apart. So, in 2022, they tore down the old wooden pilons and put heavy concrete supports in their place. The top of he bridge was reconstructed according to old plans, so it still looks a lot like the old one - especially when all the new wood gets weathered a bit. Next to the bridge is also one of few places along Sava Bohinjka River, where one can easily walk into the stream for a dip, swim or wade, provided water level is high enough - and if not too many fly-fishermen are trolling here for trout.
