On foot on unpaved ground (slippery when wet) you can walk down to the beach at a less steep point. This is ideal for a beach walk with your dog.

Beautiful natural beach to linger. Not suitable for swimming due to the many stones. But quite suitable for collecting stones.

Natural path on a not so steep part of the cliff in front of the Lancken holiday home area. Only accessible on foot as the path is narrow. In rainy weather the ground is quite sloppy, so there is a risk of slipping. A small, natural beach awaits you below. Even in the high season in July, this beach is not so popular, as bathing is quite difficult due to the many stones in the water. The best swimming area is to the right of the beach exit. There the stones are not overgrown with algae, the water gets deeper quickly, sometimes you can no longer stand, but then there are sandbanks. Less suitable for small children and may not be entirely harmless in heavy swell. In July 2021, a lot of algae were washed ashore in places, a few days after there was a kind of algae bloom in the water, the washed up algae rotted and hydrogen sulfide developed (smell of rotten eggs). Since this gas numbs the sense of smell in higher concentrations, one should avoid such stretches of beach. On these days I recommend to switch to the north beach at Cape Arkona. Without algae, however, a beautiful natural beach with wild cliffs.
