Schloss Taxis, also called Schloss Trugenhofen, is located in Dischingen in the district of Heidenheim. It consists of several buildings, including the Cavalierbau, theater, chapel, Prinzenbau and the princely building in the lower and upper courtyard. The former kitchen building housed a hunting museum.

If you take the bike path from Dischingen direction Ballmertshofen until height "water supply" then turn left, then you can cycle up in a very beautiful avenue to the castle and then continue from there - nice and shady in the summer!
