A small sign along the dirt road leads a few dozen yards to the east to this donation-based ($25) rest facility. Located along the continental divide trail at Pie Town Road walk alternate at mile #26.1, 14 miles south of Pie Town on what is formally known as the Ed Jones Road.
It provides a picturesque 560 sq ft shelter facility for cross country backpackers and cyclists on 15 sections of pristine, undisturbed private land, and includes access to natural well water, WiFi, a hot shower, low-flow toilets, washer/dryer, microwave, gas cooking-burners, electricity, recycling, and a stocked refrigerator/pantry.
