At the end of the 93 steps you come to the attic. It feels a bit airy, but there's a reason for that. Roofs of this type must be very well ventilated to prevent the wood from rotting.

The wooden frame is shaped like the hull of an overturned boat and is made from wood from chestnut trees. The slate panels are cement-free and simply placed on top of each other from the outside.
