From September 10, 2023, the church houses the relics of the blessed Ulma family, after the solemn beatification made that day in Markowa with the participation of about 32,000 believers, in the presence of the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Sejm and the Chief Rabbi of the Republic of Poland. The reliquary was placed on the left side altar.
Ulma's family (including their children) were shot by the Germans for hiding eight Jews in their home during World War II in 1944.
