Hiking

This impressive Grade II-listed manor house was built in 1790 and underwent significant renovation in the 20th century. It's not open to the public but you can get wonderful views of the building from the public footpath that passes it. The house served as a maternity unit during the Second World War and has since been transformed into privately-owned residential apartments. It's certainly a rather tranquil place to live.
