The glacial lagoon isn't as spectacular as the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, but that doesn't mean it's not worth driving there. We found the lagoon very worth seeing because the glacier is much closer than the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon.

Quieter and more lonely than Jökulsarlon ... magical silence ... the only way to get there was via komoot. Canoe trips can be booked in Höfn.
