Stöckenbergsee is a former gravel pit and is located in the Hitdorf district in the west of Leverkusen. In the southeast area there is a large sandy beach, otherwise the water is surrounded by trees. Narrow, forested dams separate the lake from the neighboring gravel pits Hitdorfer See and Waldsee. The Stöckenbergsee is managed by the sport fishing club Bayer Leverkusen. Fishing is reserved for club members. The fishing season is all year round. Night fishing is permitted. The protected areas and the area of the Rheindorf fishing club may not be fished!

A beautiful lake to look at. It is a drinking water lake - bathing is strictly forbidden.
