The roof wall source can be found directly on the district road / district boundary from Weiterode to Iba. Not far away is the well-known, formerly a popular excursion destination, Friedrichshütte. The spring was inaugurated in 1984 after it had been recast at the time. It served to refresh the field workers.
Unfortunately, there was no clear, fresh water running today. But you have the opportunity to rest on the benches in the shade and enjoy the wonderful landscape.

Mountain biking

The spring, beautifully framed by the Weiterode local history association, is located directly on the district road between Weiterode and Iba.
The spring water is running again and today offers cyclists or hikers refreshment and a nice place to take a break.
