On the edge of the village we find the Gothic curate church of St. Vigilius with colorful glazed roof tiles. The current form of the church dates back to the 14th century. On the tower of the church you can also admire the oldest wall painting in Kaltern, which depicts St. Christopher and was created around 1320.
