The Aabach Dam is situated in a natural landscape between the villages of Bad Wünnenberg and Marsberg. It supplies 250,000 people with first-class drinking water and is hardly developed for tourism. A nine-kilometer circular trail around the dam invites you to a water experience of a special kind. Since the idyllic reservoir and the surrounding area belong to a water protection area, further leisure activities such as sailing, rowing or swimming are not possible.
