Lime production in Złoty Stok reached its peak in the 19th century, achieving a leading position in Silesia in terms of the amount of lime produced. When the lime kilns were bought by the Dutch duchess Marianna of Orange and during her reign, lime was fired in Złoty Stok, which was used, among others, for the construction of the palace in Kamieniec Ząbkowicki. In 1946 attempts were made to start the lime kilns, but they were unsuccessful. "Prefabrykacja" August Mazurek launched the calcination of limestone in the lower kiln of the lime kilns. Unfortunately, due to the excessively high content of silica, which reduced the value of quicklime, production was stopped within one year. for grits and meal for the construction industry It was completed in 1961.
