The Château de Touffou which is located on the edge of the Vienne river has an extraordinary character. It is a residence that is both strange and noble, of great charm. The two dungeons, built in the 12th century, were reunited in the 15th century and equipped with an advanced defense system, with a crenellated walkway and machicolation. You can visit the François Premier tower decorated with frescoes, the Chapel tower, the Hotel tower (former bakery and kitchen), as well as the magnificent gardens surrounding the building.
