It is noticeable that the area is surrounded by small observation bunkers (or so I suspect at least) with viewing slits at the 4 corners

In the forest of Prieros in the huge former restricted area between Hammer / Prieros / Streganz / Klein Köris was the deputy minister's and chief of border troops' alternate headquarters, whose regular headquarters were in Pätz. In addition to a helipad, a boiler house and a sanitary building, there was at least one covered vehicle position on the object, at least one FB-3 and finally the main complex, a system of 40 prefabricated bunkers type FB-3, 5 monolithic bunkers and 6 space tunnels similar to the MfS Typbau V2x Frame elements that were also used in the corridor system.

The FM technology was located in the largest room of the facility, two other somewhat larger rooms were assigned to the StMCGT, presumably as storage rooms. 2 of the 40 FB-3 served as transit rooms. There was also a room with a UPS system, presumably for FM technology, but an NEA is no longer recognizable and if it existed, then outside the complex.

Remains of a facility used by the GDR border troops. Since this area is very close to the former GS of the GT, it could have been related to it.
