The oven house pond got its name from a vaulted cellar that was built directly into the mountain and actually has the shape of an oven. Mighty giant trees and the murmur of a clear mountain stream make for a grandiose backdrop. The terraces in the forest that can still be seen above the pond are the last witnesses to the abandoned settlement of Hole, which is the subject of numerous myths and legends.
