The Fairy Glen is a picturesque, secluded gorge not far from the popular village of Betws-y-Coed. It is named for the mythical sprites that are said to live there and is one of several UK beauty spots that share this title.

The site is looked after by local people and there is an honesty box near the entrance gate, which suggests a small donation.

A really short, but very scenic walk to the River Conwy. There is a little paying booth, we payed 2P to enter. We have not had any change in our options, but then an older man literally appeared out of nowhere with a pocket

A short but very nice walk down to the River Conwy. At the beginning there is a small payment station, we paid 2P. We had no change and have a little uncertain our options covered, there is already an elderly gentleman out of nowhere with a pocket full of Klimpergeld appeared, almost like a (very male) fairy :)

A grandiose little canyon. Here you can take great pictures. A tripod is appropriate, it is relatively dark. Be careful, the rocks on the edge of the river are very slippery. You can do a little round, which is very nice.
