If you like adventurous you should go through the middle of the Xanderklinge, here are some ropes that help you over the rocks ... Very alpine.

Xander blade is great ... especially the last piece up to the waterfall where you can run on rock plates in the creek bed. Wonderfully green and vermoost everything.

Absolutely recommendable - you should bring waterproof shoes and a safe step. If you fight your way up from below along the torrent, a reward awaits you in the treasure chest. Great thing!

If you are a bit unsure on foot, have dogs with you, should take the bypass (signposted), there are 2 climbing passages with rope!

The Xander blade is a natural ravine without a real hiking trail.
The path taken changes in part, depending on how much water comes from above, tribes are washed ashore or it also comes to rock falls.
Nevertheless, the way here is an absolute must for sure-footed hikers with sturdy shoes!
Do not commit at or shortly after heavy rain!

Great treasure chest with drinks cooled by the stream and a donation box !!!
Is entertained by the local gastronomy (crab nest).
Great idea and great surprise on the top of the Xanderklinge!

The Xander blade at Holzbronn is one of the most attractive natural phenomena in the northern Black Forest. A short section of the blade has been released for visitors to the waterfall. In the back part of a forest biotope is under protection and should not be entered. From a viewing platform you have a magnificent view of the protected part of the gorge.

Can you go all the way to the top to cross. Unfortunately, this is not shown on Komoot

Small but exciting climb. The world is still fine here somehow.

A very exciting and great gorge.
Not easy, so you should go from the bottom up.
Then you can also see the 2 waterfalls where the kicks are and where the rope help is.

In the northwest of Holzbronn the Xanderklinge flows partly as a torrent with a great gradient down into the valley, where it flows into the Nagold. A trail leads along the Xander blade, but this is sometimes difficult to walk. Over 3 m high waterfalls and 10 m high rock walls can be discovered there. An adventure trail along the Xanderklinge invites you to explore the blade.

Really nice blade. Halfway through the path goes up to the left. If you are sure-footed, you can stay down and move on. There are crampons and ropes for the ascent.
Should definitely be done from below. Because going down is even harder.

Met a few families who tried to go from top to bottom with children. It is much easier to walk down the forest trails and then up the gorge. Or you park in the valley near the bridge like we do. Take change for the treasure chest with 😉.

The Xander blade is a great experience, especially for children. Playing by the stream, climbing over tree trunks and boulders, pure adventure. The gorge should be walked in the ascent.

In any case, go from the bottom up, then the climbing sites are easier.
