In the northwest of Holzbronn the Xanderklinge flows partly as a torrent with a great gradient down into the valley, where it flows into the Nagold. A trail leads along the Xander blade, but this is sometimes difficult to walk. Over 3 m high waterfalls and 10 m high rock walls can be discovered there. An adventure trail along the Xanderklinge invites you to explore the blade.

The Xander blade at Holzbronn is one of the most attractive natural phenomena in the northern Black Forest. A short section of the blade has been released for visitors to the waterfall. In the back part of a forest biotope is under protection and should not be entered. From a viewing platform you have a magnificent view of the protected part of the gorge.

The Xander blade is a natural ravine without a real hiking trail.
The path taken changes in part, depending on how much water comes from above, tribes are washed ashore or it also comes to rock falls.
Nevertheless, the way here is an absolute must for sure-footed hikers with sturdy shoes!
Do not commit at or shortly after heavy rain!
