The Sanctuary of the Mare de Déu de la Fontcalda dates from the 14th century, although the current building is from 1753. It is neoclassical in style, with a single nave with a barrel vault and a small transept with an octagonal dome.
This place has been known since the 14th century, where an image of the Mare de Déu de la Fontcalda was venerated. La Font Calda gets its name from the hot springs that gush out at the foot of the sanctuary. The water comes out at 25º and in addition to the sanctuary, buildings were built to house people who came to become priests or simply to spend the weekend or vacation.

The Fontcalda sanctuary has been documented since the 14th century, although the current church dates from the 18th century and is neoclassical. In 1936, during the Spanish Civil War, the sanctuary was burned and the baroque altar and the ancient image of the Virgin were destroyed.
